Have you ever had someone mistaking you for a terrorist? well, happened to me today. it went like this...

i went to suntec to get my dumbells but couldn't find a suitable one, most of them were too light and the ones that were just right were too costly. me being my determined self, i made my way over to marina and in the midst of that under-construction, half run-down place, i found my ideal dumbell. its basically a metal rod with screw-on weights that go up to 10kg. biggest mistake: not buying it with my parents. had to carry that freaking 10kg box wrapped in 3 plastic bags with both hands, just in case the bags busted open and walk all the way to city hall mrt. that's like adding on 20% of my body weight. when i reached the entry, i was having a really tough time trying to reach for my wallet and when i finally managed to get it out, security came.
"what's in there?"
"er..dumbells?" i was so tempted to say bomb just to see his reaction. haha...imagine him starting to panic. but that might just end me up in places i don't wanna be.
"it looks very heavy, let me see it." he then takes over and shakes it a little.
"you train with this?"
"ya..."
"woah, ok, go on"
either he was just a curious fella or he really thought i was bringing in a bomb. anyway, this goes to show that if you're thinking of blowing up a mrt station, forget it, IT WON'T WORK.
