So it's official. Completed 99% of the paperwork and paid the deposit/downpayment. The whole thing gave me a feel of how it's like being a celebrity giving away autographs. Think i penned my signature down some 20 times throughout the process. I've officially made the biggest purchase in my life thus far and now own a 15th floor apartment. It's surreal.
Was driving home feeling sleepy because i woke up pretty early today. The radio was tuned in to power 98 slow jams and along the way they started broadcasting the safe driving messages. If only they'd realize that slow jams past 11pm is in itself a safety hazard. Black music at such an hour would be ideal. Pump up the adrenaline for the ride home.
Was just talking about childhood the other day at work when i was made to recall the digimon craze of the 90s. Trying to dig up all my old digimon devices now so i can bring them along to work. Think i use to have at least four or five of them. Vividly recall sneaking them out during classes in primary school to feed them and battle with friends. Gonna see if i can fit them with fresh batteries and get them running again. Who knows, maybe i'll even dig up the old gameboy as well and get hooked on super mario all over again. Oh how i miss such simple pleasures. On a side note, it's july! The keyboard should be coming in this month. A new grown-up toy to keep me amused.
It's week 8 of internship and i'm not looking forward to the start of school. It's gonna be a bittersweet feeling to conclude my internship. For now i'm really looking forward to the overseas trip. Much need getaway with great company. Thank God the bidding schedule this coming sem didn't make going overseas a chore.
