Went for my first cell group meeting with derek/joel's cell last wednesday. Quite thankful for the invitation to join their cell, it's really about time i transited from youth to young adult. Thankful too that ad and lj were joining the cg together as well. Pretty timely since last week was the start of a new study series. It'll probably be a good idea to invite ks along next week.

It's coming to almost 6 years that i've been serving in joel's worship team. Time flies. Can still remember the infant days where i was struggling to keep up with certain songs, when my playing was often fraught with wrong notes, cringing to myself hoping no one noticed. I'm starting to think that what may now seem as a natural progression into the cell may have been God's plan for me from the start. To allow me to get acquainted to and comfortable with this lovely bunch, slowly but surely. To have a few closer, same-aged peers join the cell with me as encouragement and motivation. Church will always be the place where friends are the ones i've known the longest for. On a side note, i made a new good friend this week - the transpose button on the keyboard. She's nice and helps me out a lot. I got to know her brother much earlier though - the capo. We cheat together.
