Just like that, December has come to a close. Received a record number of Christmas presents this year. Hauls included a super-ultra-mega cool watch that literally exudes an aura of awesomeness (thank you!), and a remote control toy car. How awesome is that? Which 23 year-old kid has a functional remote control toy car. I miss being a kid. I honestly do. So much that I actually downloaded a gameboy pokemon emulator on my computer just so I can relive the epic pokemon quest. I've got a Blastoise now and I gleam with pride just as I did 12 years ago whenever I summoned it out for battles. Boys will be boys. Wish someone would indulge me in playground catching. It's a joy to be able to give and I gave more Christmas presents this year too. Not quite as many as I hope too but it was as many as I could afford. For now.

Then there was the good food, too much of it. So much that I just wanna camel my way to new year. Eat one meal and store till the next day before I go at it again.

But of course, Christmas isn't about awesome presents and feasts. Those are there to keep the economy running. Attended the combined Christmas service and the congregation was bigger than ever, the choir fuller than ever, the dancers more dynamic than ever and the sermon was web-casted from the second floor. Everything's different around Christmas. I want to be able to effectively testify to why I celebrate Christmas. And for that I spent almost 2.5 hours watching this video I linked off facebook.

Solid stuff with much heavier content than the Dawkins-Lennox debate. I actually had to use wikipedia alongside it to understand some of the more complex stuff discussed. Dawkins-Lennox would be great for starters but this was still time well spent nonetheless.

Christmas season is gone, my internship is almost at its end and module bidding season is here. Again. For the sixth time. I ought to be a seasoned "bidder" by now. And indeed, I'm chill enough to be heading to Pulai Springs Resort in the midst of bidding, without my laptop. Much needed vacation after a hectic semester 1 and internship stint. Even God rested, I should too. If I don't get my modules I'll pull off the "give me my modules because I'm year 3 and I need them" stunt. And if that doesn't work then maybe the "I'm calling my lawyers" backup should do the trick.

Took time to meet up with people whom I haven't seen in eons. Met up with greg. Gonna try and make plans to catch up with robyn. My new year's resolution is gonna be the same as the last. Only this time round, with greater fervour.

Brace myself, 2012 is gonna be huge.
